"You know what? That's it. I will keep writing, until I make it. or until I die. that's it."

1. All books suffer diminishing returns, as people check it out and choose to read.
2. Burnout can happen at anytime, either quit, or push through it.
3. Don't write for the engagement, and you'll get engagement.
4. Stack up chapters and be ahead of your schedule.

you succeed in your mission, or, you die trying.
there is no third option.

I have access to the persistence, usually reserved only for the truly demented.

think about it. If you apply this? Ten years from now, people will be asking *you*.

still the same reasons, but trying to fix what I wrote has kind of pushed me into a loop? I re-write-> upload ->re-write, and the cycle repeats. Idk if why this is specifically affecting me. idk i am not good at explaining.

Alright. So you want to show off your world and story while also fixing your attention span, but you included fixing your story too.

Here's the thing that bugs me. You already showed off your world. The story exists. Your attention is clearly here, on this website, or else we wouldn't be seeing so much of ya. And fixing your story has indeed turned into an ouroboros; erasing what you wrote to replace it with something you consider better. Sounds like you've accomplished your goals, but I am seeing you removing your written work because others are telling you to do so. That is what bugs me; is this your story or theirs? You wanna share your world, but you're omitting features of it in favor of making it sensational. Don't you think that might be why you're stuck in a loop? That you don't feel that same motivation because what you wanted to write is now being replaced by what others tell you to write?

Maybe I'm dead wrong. Don't decide on it today, just think about that.

You need to filter feedback more selectively, dude. You can differentiate between taste criticism (whether I liked this story or not) and technical criticism (such as pacing, prose, narrative style, POV, etc).

Generally, taste criticism isn't helpful if you're trying to build a world that aligns with your artistic vision.

But if you want a story that is more likely to become popular, criticism of taste can be considered more carefully.

On the other hand, technical criticism can help you refine your narrative to make it more readable and literary.

You are the author. You own your story.
