What is it like to post on AO3 and/or RR?

AO3 is p. good in my experience - readers are polite, and the culture is more about showing gratitude to authors than being critical. The tagging system is very robust, although there are some limitations. And the audience is pretty large as well. This is mostly because AO3 does not allow any...

    Recommendations mc cultivates very slowly

I mean, that's only really true if you focus on the Cultivation as the main theme. I think you can tell a fun and interesting story but still have the MC progress slowly. They can still have trials and tribulations, face down their rivals and spirit beasts and what not - it just means that when...

How Do You Write Good Fight Scenes?

So the big Thing for me when writing fight scenes is pacing. Pacing is super important to a fight, because you, presumably, want it to feel fast and snappy. Don't get bogged down in descriptions of every little attack or moment - save that for the big moments, the ones with the most impact...

    How'd you get your start?

Honestly, mood. Part of what got me to write more seriously was wanting to read about different protagonists/characters but nobody else seemed to be doing them. Also part of the reason for my current novel.

    How'd you get your start?

What got you started writing? I, personally, started pretty early - I remember writing (very terrible) stories as a grade schooler, and just kept going. At one point, I delved into fanfiction, and wrote a bunch of those (still do, under this name even-), and still kept up writing original works...

Writing Prompt Write a religious paragraph...

Hear me, Children of the Waters, and know my words. I am he who is within all. I bring life when I fall and death when I rage, and this too is a cycle. From the moment my touch was upon the world, it has been so and forever more it will remain for I am that which cannot be destroyed. Children...

How long does it take you to write a chapter?

Really varies. Sometimes I can't stop, sometimes it takes me weeks. I find I tend to vary between those two extremes though. Either I'm a writing machine, or it's a deadzone.

    ❣Single or Taken?

If he was currently taken, he wouldn't be much of an aspiring future househusband would he? He'd be a househusband already! ... although in saying that, he could be taken and still aspiring to be able to settle down and be caught in a constant storm of events that won't let him relax.

How much do you outline your story before writing it?

Mood. But in all seriousness, I tend to have a rough idea of what I'm aiming for, how it begins, key moments... and then I wing everything else. Mostly because even if I start with an idea of how things will go, as I develop characters and things I tend to realise 'Hang on, the person I've...

Post your characters, and I'll tell you what I think of them from my reader's perspective.

I'm glad to hear that! He is in fact, chubby - and he'll be staying that way for the story.

    Just deleted chapter.

It was, kind of, going to be porny? Oooh, I haven't heard of Campfire before. Seems pretty interesting, but I feel like I could do much of it just using free tools.

    Just deleted chapter.

I use gdocs for that same reason. I get a surprising amount of writing done on my phone when I'm just waiting for things.

    Just deleted chapter.

I lost half a Ren'Py visual novel I was working on. I still don't know how. I went to revisit it, and couldn't find the files anymore. All that writing gone... but I'll get back to it one day.

How do you deal with a writing block

I don't! :D No, I mostly just try to find other things to do. Read other works, write something else - I've given up trying to corral my brain.

Hit an AI generator until it spat something usable out just as a reference piece. He's young, tries to be kind, and dreams of living in a nice house where he can spend his days tending to the garden/being a general house-husband. Tends to panic a lot when he's in danger, and he's not afraid...
