Officially finished Umineko. 9.2/10. I recommend playing/reading the VN if you have yet to.
Personally I prefer Higurashi, might change on a rewatch of Umineko, however it is quite hard to compare the two of them. Umineko had a stronger ending and beginning but a worse middle imo.
The urge to rewatch Ippo is quite strong atm.

Intrusive thought/rant.
AI, in its current general form, will most likely plateau before AGI/the singularity, assuming it even can. We will most likely need a massive revision/replacement of current methods. AI currently is able to get really good at one thing, but needs outside help to go past this. It also needs massive amounts of data, for what is becoming smaller and smaller improvements.
Just had a horrid set of nightmares. Nothing bad really happened, but the entire time I was dreaming I knew I was asleep, and that if I didn’t wake up I would be killed. So 30 to 40 minutes of me frantically waking up to immediately fall back asleep and/or “wake up” to be pulled back into sleep by the masterminds who could control my mind. These masterminds already had my family hostage. -
