Imagine this: there's an Olympic-sized pool filled with water. A metal tower stands in the center of the pool, rising twenty or so feet high. At the top of the tower is a bunch of trampolines set up in a sort of bowl shape. The biggest trampoline acting as the floor is an octagon, and eight smaller square-shaped trampolines are set up around the edges at maybe a forty degree angle, so that the entire "ring" is enclosed by them.
You can probably guess where this is going. Two players bounce around and try to knock each other out of the ring. The smaller trampolines are set up at an angle to allow the players to "launch" themselves across the ring at each other. No punches or kicks are allowed. The only form of attack is to bounce across the arena and crash into your opponent, preferably while both of you are in the air. The first one to get thrown from the ring a certain number of times loses.
It would have all the spectacle of something like pro wrestling without the fights having to be scripted and fake. It'd be way more fun to watch than football (both types) so naturally I'd make about a hundred million times more money than whoever invented them. Who do I have to call to make this happen?
