I found this show by accident while browsing HBO Max and decided to give it a watch. It's okay. Only six episodes long and no second season. I give it a 7/10.

More importantly, now I really want to write a story about a small time supervillain team trying to make ends meet even though they're just in it for the love of the game ("Love of the Game" would be the title, btw) and they constantly have to try and balance responsible villainy with their obsessive need to spread chaos and (very expensive) destruction.

Someone slap me and tell me to get back to work on XNPC.

It has been a while since I heard about this show. I watched some of the shorts on youtube years ago.

It's longer than six episodes. It originally was picked up by Cartoon Network for about 10 1-minute shorts, which were what was on YouTube. It's basically a passion project of an animator. And they're now working on a spin-off.

As for stopping you, you're an adult (probably), and can make your own bad decisions.

But yeah I fully understand wanting to tell a new story. I’ve fully developed, storyboarded, and outlined like 4 stories I will probably never write in the last year because I have an ongoing weekly serial that eats up 80% of my writing time and I don’t want to leave behind a trail of 3-5 chapter long abandoned fics.
