There are fewer and fewer positions in the forecasting environment these days, mainly just government jobs. It's mainly an airfield point forecast and a general forecast for larger regions. Maybe your city will get a forecast as well, done by a human, but chances are it is some dude working on little sleep, glancing at the auto-generated forecast, and maybe adjusting a line or two unless it is really out of whack.
