As I said, I've read 90% of this book. It may be plagiarized, it may not conform to other site requirements, but there's no way in hell that it's a translation. I assume I have no actual right to request proof. But without it, I can't believe it to be anything but an error.

If it wasn't a translation, the author will talk with the site admins and that will usually resolve it. If it never returns or the author dips to another site, then it's most likely a translation.

If I may ask, is the story you're referring to smut? If yes, there's a chance it was deleted for the "too much smut" rule instead of it being a translation. It might be deleted during a concidental timing, is all.
