Can We Raise the Reaction Cap Based on Our Trophy Score?

Just like the title asks. I mean, if we have been here long enough to be that engaging, don't we deserve to have a little more in return for keeping the community active? I heard we have 150 daily reactions before we're cutoff. Could we add our Trophy Score on top of it?

So, think of it this way, our trophy score reflects our long-term activity, the community approval based on whatever reactions received, and how we don't have a history of spamming. I get why we have a daily cap, it's because of damned bots, spam accounts, and little screwballs who take some sort of twisted pleasure in gaming the system en masse.

But if we have proven to have acquired something like 500 reactions received or accomplished a hundred posts over months of activity, isn't that a sign of trust? Those with that sort of achievements on their profiles are not bots or burner accounts, indicatively.

To be clear, I ain't asking for unlimited reactions. What I am suggesting is establishing limits that can scale modestly with demonstrated, long-term participation already seen here and there over the months and years. No lifted safeguards. Just recognizing an already established bunch and future newbs of contributing to this community. Because, really, I don't want to be posting without cluttering threads with individual short replies if there are hundreds I want to acknowledge; a reaction here and there will show I did read it and I reacted. :blob_okay:

Yeah, think about everyone who has no real social life and needs at least 500 emoji reacts like me! :blob_shade:

I'd laugh, but...

Get more creative and respond with cryptic messages, that convey your reaction.

To make trophy score more meaningful and so we can boast about how many reactions we have over the puny 2 score peasants.

I do see the merit in that... maybe. I don't know. I react a lot to what I read on here, and it is selfish of me to think this way, but it's still true for me it is a severe limit when I bump that cap.

Reactions are important... they're a sign of caring.

Every day I receive notifications about replies to statuses or threads. If I don't react... I might be perceived as cold or indifferent for ignoring messages.

On the other hand, there's also a limit to how I respond to threads... I can't possibly respond to every thread with detailed and technical... or just a casual response, "Good job, dude. Cheers!"

Reactions aren't just about scores and reputation... they're about how we react in a friendly way within the community.

I wish we got a few more reactions... 6 emotes are not enough, honestly. A Karma system would also be appreciated.

Maybe a trade system, the more reaction you receive the more bonuses reaction you can give out... maybe like every 3 like you get you can use 1 extra like.
