Hey, guys.
I'd chosen to title my story [Heraldry: The Sapphire Among Vines]. Initally, I thought it sounded cool, rolls of the tongue nicely, and since my MC is called Herald, I find it a good wordplay.
Thing is, there is nothing in my story that has anything to do with the actual meaning of the word 'heraldry'. No coat of arms, genealogy or noble houses. MC is royalty, but that's not the point of the story.
So I'm thinking of changing the title to [Herald: The Sapphire Among Vines] instead to better reflect the story's focus.
Does this matter to readers?
Thanks in advance.
