You're wrong, the most popular novels stand out because of their fandom, not because of their cover. With the cover, you only know that the novel is popular.

As I said, the physical format is absurd on a continent where people no longer read; the web format is better.

Most people (99.9% of WN authors) wouldn't do it. They would release chapter by chapter over a span of a few days.

I don't know how many chapters that makes, but that's really unorthodox and strange because you usually stretch out the chapters and not release them in one go. Releasing the entire volume in one go is almost unheard of, which made me question if you maybe release it for Supporters or on another page like Amazon, and YES, authors do that. They release their works in books. Since you create a brand new cover for each volume, I think it wasn't unreasonable to assume you might release your works on Amazon or another site.

Also, a volume 8.5 does not indicate a continuation, but it usually implies a side story. Every single volume is a continuation. It's a little silly. It's not an arc, but simply a volume. A volume is simply a measurement of pages and not content. Most LN's/Mangas have the same size, so even if the arc is not yet finished, the volume only contains so many chapters.

Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that the cover is nice, that's all! Just a little support.

Without reading the title, I just assume this is some kind of hentai story where the likely rich, male MC gets a new slutty maid or something.

If your story is just for smut and no other substance, then amen I guess.

Now if you had her sitting on the mechs shoulder or in the mechs hand, like she was being rescued, I would like it more... as it is, all I can think of is that at first glance your novel is just about a noble girl trying to thirst trap your MC, and convince him to do something he doesnt want to do, because of boobs.

Though to promote The Mech Touch, Pocket FM did some really bad Youtube "Book Trailers" (seriously - if you want a laugh, look for the trailers for books you've read to see how far they stray from ANYTHING that happens ANYWHERE in the novel in these AI generated alleged trailers - one of the three or four for My Vampire System merges material from FOUR very different stories, all of which my wife listened to at different points) where a woman in a tight-fitting military uniform, with a young female assistant who is wearing, essentially, a school-girl's sailor suit are holding the MC captive, forcing him to do something; I just shook my head and closed the link at that, without trying to figure out what they were making him do - modify mechs on the fly it looked like.

I've been writing since the pandemic, and the protadas were just the logo of the work and the volume number. Last year I discovered AI (I already knew about it but never used it), so I decided to use it now.

A friend from abroad made me a cover based on what you said. The covers give a slight impression of what the story arc will be about, in this case a volume full of relaxation and fan service. The final volume will have a double cover because there are two arcs in the same event: the final war and what happens afterwards.

Amazon has its own software, and with 8.5 novel covers, you could potentially upload 9 entire volumes. It's quite easy and free, so you should really give it a go. Look for some guides for Kindle Unlimited.
