Doubting that most of you guys do that but there probably will be exception. Use this thread to bully your fat friends into working out lol
Don’t do anything but am average weight for my height. However, ‘fit and healthy’ are essentially the antithesis to my existence from birth to present. Actually scratch that from 1st to 2nd grade you could call me ‘fit’ but after that my breathing got worse and I have yet to get back to that level.

> Physio

As a guideline, if you have any repeated ache or pain that's not gut, head, or teeth, see a physiotherapist. Even if you blame the deskchair, the shoes, the mattress, the trackpad, the counter height.

Physiotherapist.

Used to workout 5-7 days a week, sometimes taking multiple days of rest if needed. No gym, just mostly bodyweight exercises along with some homemade weights. Since I weighed 300 something pounds, it was a slow start but really amped up into some awesome progress after a few months.

Couple miles of walking were splashed in occasionally every week as well. Didn't eat much in terms of junk food or whatnot, but definitely ate a decent amount of food. Wanted to keep my weight above a certain threshold since I liked resembling a bear.

Then life said 'fuck you' and proceeded to ram me up the ass, forcing me to stop working out.

I go to school; the stress keeps me slim.
Slim does not equate fit and healthy. My grandfather, for example, was very slim. He was also confined to a hospital bed all the time, unable to walk, and had a very bad case of diabetes that eventually killed him.

You want to be slim from exercise, not slim from stress. Sadly.

and there's like the skinny fat category
Fit and healthy? You dare to assume I follow those mortal standards...
its a biological reality e.e

you should still strive to make a change for the better and do it for yourslef

even if it might not be that intense or that long

yeah but there's a lot more negative effects of stress
, it could be possible to make time for it.

Walking, a lot of walking in general even though I could take the car sometimes when I have the time I walk it, and ocassionally, go to the swimming pool next door in summer.

Eat and Eat actually.

I have stupidly fast metabolism, I spend my entire childhood as fricking skeleton until my doctor suggested me to over eat food as much as I want, even if I don't want it.

I did not find it much problem until i actually tried to gain fat, And my god it's stupidly hard as long as I have some sort of physical activity, going on. which I do daily in the form of football and volleyball.

Even now I eat food 5 times a day, to maintain healthy weight

The only time I was somewhat over weight was during corona which is completely self explanatory.

It is at the point that I am low-key jealous of people who can eat a cup cake today and become a walrus tommarow

one way to stay fit is eating healthy wise, so don't go too hard on red meat(mammals) those raises your cholesterol fast and can give you heart disease, white meat is good and those are just poultry and fish the difference between those too is that red meat has way more saturation content of fat than white meat does.

I use to do boxing so some of the exercises I do come from that, I like using rope skipping as it is an excellent fat burner and builds up cardio nicely plus it's fun doing all the tricks and stuff, although I don't have punching bags I do have dumbbells and a chin up bar so I like training my core with leg raises on the chin up bar and russian twists with the dumbbells and also planks.

For lower body I either do Dumbbells squats if you want thighs and core worked out, dumbbells deadlifts for your lower back, butt and hip thrusts with the dumbbells sitting on you for glutes. Arms and back are just chin ups, bicep curls, over head triceps extensions and farmers carry.(This took way to long to find the names of the exercises)

In terms of exercise: Running, CrossFit, weightlifting, calisthenics, yoga, and martial arts (I have experience in boxing, taekwondo, and wrestling). At least 6 hours of training a week, depending on my schedule (as in how much time I want to spend gaming/writing/drawing/watching TV)

In terms of food: Nothing really. I have a good metabolism and a small stomach, so I can't eat that much at once. Besides, I prefer healthier sources of protein and carbs like fish and rice. Many days I end up burning more calories than I consume which is frustrating since I'm trying to build muscle.

I strongly disapprove of the whole "all otaku nerds are ugly, unhealthy, and socially awkward" stereotype. I pretty much devoted my life to proving it wrong. So, have some confidence in yourselves. Brains and brawn aren’t mutually exclusive.

the stereotype largely exists because its true but with anime becoming mainstream its more so the median population more than the fact overweight neet and attitudes are a lot less discriminatory towards weebs now
