Idk what I'm creating this thread for. Whatever, just tell me about any of your traumas. Like, something you went through or you are going through rn. I feel like I'm taking traumas too lightly these days, I laugh at things that I shouldn’t.
So, lemme hear about your trauma. I will try to be normally react again.

How do I start?

I'm a teacher in public school up to this day, and as someone who wanted to help students, I try to be an adult who will stand with them. Well, I did that, and there are some of the old peeps here who know my story. I fought to help my students, and part of those are stories of rape, molestation and sexual abuse (relative, parents, friends...name it, I have listened to all of it) that until now, affects my mind.

Well, even in my new workplace, I'm still that "teacher you should go to whenever you want help about heavy stuff," and honestly, this kind of treatment isn't nice. I would trade it if I can help it, but no one would take the burden of listening to children 'coz yeah, it's really heavy (I understand my co-teachers' sentiments about this).

Ah yeah, we talking of trauma here? I get emotional whenever I hear similar news.

Don't. (Speaking from experience. Life gets better)
We all do and it’s a burden

It can be a burden to listen to people whining. But, look at the bright side. The children see you as someone who is approachable. They think you can help them without criticizing them unlike the society. I'm not in your shoes. So, I can't say you have to agree with me. That's just my opinion.

Not necessarily whining, but it's part of it.

There are lotsa heavy stuff I get from listening to them, like family issues, romance issues...those are light stuff compared to...well, you know.

Well, yeah. It can be a heavy burden. It can cause your mental health to deteriorate. So, take care of yourself as well.

Simplified.
Out of my three major ones. Here's my least concerning one.

Nearly dying in a storm. Left me afraid of water for a while, but brain fully hid this memory until I was good. Which was around 10 years I'd say.

Sure here's my trauma from trampolines, you see when I was a little goof I used to have this long rectangle trampoline, that I used to bounce on everyday, I had discovered a more fun variety of this activity at a birthday party with me and a bunch of other goofs, it was that by lifting the trampoline and letting it stand vertical on the back of it's legs, we could all run at it like raging bulls then jump and cling to it while it followed it's inertia back to the ground.

well... one day at home doing the very same thing I had did at the birthday party, I feel that I may very well have tempted fate beyond it's patience that day, as I jumped on the vertical trampoline like many other times, although this time as the trampoline started to move forward, it suddenly stopped moving forward like it had stopped right at the cusp of it's transition then while holding the trampoline mat, the trampoline went in it's opposite direction right on top of me, honestly the worst bit was landing on the ground while clinging to the trampoline like I did a belly flop into a pool only on my back.

The air was knocked right out of my lungs when that happened, it was like getting kicked by a horse, if you were to see how it looked then it would be of a kid with a trampoline on top of them squirming around in the front of the yard trying to crawl out of the polypropylene mat, house beside them and green grass around the trampoline, top fifteen embarrassing moments of my life there...It took a while to get up after that also this is only one of the many accidents I've had with a trampoline.

So yeah, use trampolines at your own discretion btw both trampolines had no foam guards at the side of the springs and no safety nets, at the party a lot of us would hang onto the springs as we would fall towards the ground.
When I was a smol kid a dog bit me.
same, I tried to pat it but it bit my hand when I reached out to pat it

It might have hurt a lot. I can kinda feel your pain. Once, I was playing on a swing. And, accidentally I fell on the ground and I got up and the swing hit me hard on the back of my head. My eyes went blank right after. It was really embarrassing.

yep it hurts, I'm quite accident prone unfortunately and yet I still remember that, although I blame that fact on how I use to be a daredevil when I was little, I ah use to jump off the house roof into the trampoline and bounce into the mud during rainy days during those times.

And also how you mention the swings don't tell me they were those blocky ones instead of those sitting rubber band things yikes
I joined a local artist group once and got made fun of there.

Never again. :blob_unamused:
unforgivable, all artist don't deserve to made fun of, critiqued sure but petty bullying *shaking my fist at them*
