I don't think it explicitly say in the novel... but I think when people died in hell, they just come back as someone else and suffer in a different way in another "life"

Except then you are hamstringing any character that does not use magic from being able to do anything in Spire Reef unless you set that as the useable distance for basically any form of paper or even random tree bark to be used.

Eh... do you mean that the non-magic user should be able to use the rolls?

If so well I thought the setting in this world is that magic exists in everywhere and everyone, some will have more and some exceptions will have none at all.

I assume when the communication rolls will be be more used, it will be researched to be more effective, so much that as long someone has a bit of mana, the roll can automatically draw it form the user to be used.

No? It's never established that everyone has mana. I'd prefer it if my character has no connection to general mana as the daemon is feeding off it to keep itself bound to AIEO so she has none at the moment.

I said some exceptions will have none at all, I might call it mana but I consider mana as another energy sources of the nature / world / etc, etc.

As far as I know, the daemon could have another power which allow it to feed on other energy sources.

Ah, I think I OOC prefer artillery or airplanes.

IC, it's quite obviously the sword - swords are versatile enough to deal with any situation. Well, not any, of course, but most of them.
