NOT who has been there but who is going to go there as it currently stands.
Me neither~
My character will still weaponless and still have a broken arm (for nerfing). He must have a death wish if he joins.

Well yeah, it's kill the otherworldly feelings...
Though I can only think of a crystal ball as the next thing...
Wooden pigeons, that can carry messages in them. Inject some mana and they fly!

Why not nothing just stick with the drawing of the symbol and burning the papers~ It works better me thinks.
Too easy to use, how would one intervene with such a method of communication.

It's simple really. You set up a point that receives said symbol first. Also seeing as how we already have that communication form in the game. *Cough Spire Reef cough.* It'd make sense that there is some way to intercept or redirect it.

There can be multiple ways. GM decides which the adventurers guild will accept though

Add a distance limit and a minimum energy(aka mana) level to it~
Like how much energy with the creator use to make one depending on the materials he use and how much energy the user needed to use before burning.

Otherwise it'd be too op.

Is there anyone here that has read some stuff of Till that I've written? I'm curious what you think of him at this point.

From his freestyle stuff he's got no compulsion to ask others to help him and needs to be more outspoken in what he wants to do. Don't just stand around waiting for people to come and help you out you need to be proactively soliciting help!
Otherwise it'd be too op.

Except then you are hamstringing any character that does not use magic from being able to do anything in Spire Reef unless you set that as the useable distance for basically any form of paper or even random tree bark to be used.

living a good life?
You know what this coversation reminds of, its a bit of segue... but...I read a book a while back called... the Devil's detective. It was set in hell, in the story people in hell, knows they are in hell, but doesn't know who they used to be or what they did to get sent there, only they are dead and it was hell, and they could die in hell too

The MC was given the job of a detective, and he was told to solve crimes, except he never does, and it never mattered because its hell. its only the he had to try to solve them and in the hell the rule of law as weird, demons would go around randomly torturing people, and that is fine, but everyone, Humans, had jobs and had to do those jobs

In the story it was revealed that his two colleges were in love and were secretly a couple, and they hide that fact, because its hell, good things weren't meant to happen.

But after the MC's co-workers died, he asked his boss, "why did hell, let good things happen? Should they all not just be suffering endlessly? Why do hell let hope and happiness exist?"

“Hell is not a place of no hope, Thomas, but a place where tiny amounts of hope are allowed to flourish....

...those occasional people who seem to achieve some kind of happiness here like your two dead colleagues, these are the things that Hell allows to flourish in tiny, stunted bursts, to make it immeasurably worse for everyone else.

Because, to see happiness know it can exist and it not be happening to you... make suffering so much worst. The contrast gives the edge to suffering... that was what I learned from that story

Just a sideway musing... to brings something up and watch it fall... that's is tragic...isn't it... But if you do it in reverse... that's what? Naruto?

If you die in hell do you die in real life?
