And the fictional characters, when hurt by something from the real world (the world we live in), the damage would be multiplied, so the pain.

Yes, there is some ghost, demonic power sh*t. But the normal ghost that you saw one time is more powerful than the eldritch being in fiction. Why?

One reason. They exist and actually affecting the world and the people inside it.

Fictional characters? They're fiction. Is there a way to prove their mere existence? No.

I can see your point, but as soon as we create a fictional character, it exists. You and I, and everyone else who knows of the character give them a "foot hold" in existence. As long as someone rememberes a character, it exists.
