It's a term used in roleplay settings so that other players can't control what happens to another player's character/s without their permission.

An example would be if someone says a bolt of lightning struck another person's character, causing them to burn to a crisp and die or be severely injured, then claim it was nature that did it - all while the owner of that character didn't agree with what just happened.
That would be god-modding, since they've basically controlled what has happened to another person's character without permission.

So, if you're not happy with how people are treating your character, and don't want others to do so without permission/discussing first, maybe put in your character info that you don't want to be god-modded.

Yeah i should edit the character sheet in greater detail, sadly i don't have the time for that because of work, i barely have time to pop in the forum every five ish hours or so

Even when I write a comedic character, drama eventually emerges.
The only way would be for Matcha to lose, and this isn't so difficult in terms of competence and skill but from a character perspective, Seymour's attempt to lift his spirits has made him even more resilient. Even if defeated physically, he wouldn't give up mentally or emotionally.
This way, he can't find happiness, which he would achieve if he submitted to Seymour. A no-win situation.
I really liked the parallel you made with Sisyphus; I find it fitting with Matcha's situation.
It's truly a Greek tragedy.

Ironically, one of Seymour's powers outright state that it is a Comedy, not a Tragedy. Well, at least from the perspective of everyone around her.

Guaranteeing a happy ending for Matcha would actually be trivial, she just has to declare him a Hero and ultimately lose. But she would never do that, since she can't even bring herself to act for the sake of others.

As a side note Just looking into my eyes puts you into an illusion by default, so i was never in Danny's vicinity after we made eye contact, in a sense it was all in her head in the end

Edit: my job and role as trickster is not for show, i can obviously cast illusions
