Today, I browsed Amazon and found a book called "Finding Oneself". TL;DR: It is my story "Misfit's Journey" just given a rough AI overwork. Even the character names are the same. But the idiot who stole it called it an Isekai, even though it isn't and the story isn't even finished, so it just ends at chapter 30 without any kind of end whatsoever.

Does anyone have any experience in how to take it down? I wrote an Amazon Infringement thing, but does that really work?

Here's the link to the book:

That must suck. Amazon must be the only website that doesn't give you the option to report a product on their page. All they care is money. Hopefully, this situation gets better for you.

Just go into the reading sample, look at the chapter titles in the summary and read the first chap.
No, it's not what I mean. How did you get to this particular novel among possibly thousands of others? I get quite a lot of suggestions, some of which I recognise, some of which I don't, but there is no way to check on all of them in the same time. It's a purely practical matter of everyone being able to find someone who had monetized their story, and most apparently don't, hence the motivation to steal them.
Weakling. Be like me and make a story so perverted that no one dares to steal it.
Teach us, sensei.

I just searched for LitRPG's and I knew about the piracy cases beforehand, when I saw it, I instantly thought that might be mine and I was right. Honestly, it was just luck.

You might be onto something...
Wait a minute, I thought Amazon didn't allow ai pictured there?
Apparently they do...
My first novel had the exact same thing happen. I went through the copyright thing on Amazon to get it taken down and it was within the hour, you just need to explain in the form that the work is yours, as you are the original author.

just be prepared for the one that stole it to try contacting you for the rights to your work. That happened to me and all I did in reply was say no before blocking them.
Amazon still hasn't responded, but this makes me hopeful that it at least gets taken down at some point

just throw your novel synopsis into chatgpt and ask for a name based on it, then take the names over to amazon. Might also work
