I mean, the best end results of the other three options is lower than what #1 gives you from the start, so it's not even laziness.

Why would you intentionally work harder for less results? That's not even laziness, so there's no real reason to choose the other ones unless you really like murder or capitalism or... okay, I don't see the draw of #2 at all.

#2 gives you local fame after your multiple lives
#3 gives you the opportunity to just maybe change the system after backstabbing and murdering your way to the top of a horrible backstabbing system
#4 gives you the opportunity to be Filthy Rich, probably through questionable means, and teach the ways of capitalism to others

If you want a challenge and/or like helping people, you can take #1 and use your power to try to make the world as good and/or just a place for everyone as possible.

#2 is not capitalism though.
