Oh heck no. Fae are the worst of the worst. Demons/devils are a thousand times better. Mage here, rather than witch, but I would never willingly be caught dead interacting with any of the Fae. Literally anything is safer, even something that is actively malicious!

That's just decline of culture. I am from the Macedonian Empire and we did thing differently that it is done nowadays, so my mindset when interacting with alien cultures (that we subjugated with prejudice, yes, but still) is better, so it does give me a headstart in understanding not just cultures, but alien ways of thought and action - but that is not excuse enough to not learn how to interact with the Fae.
Once you know them, they are rather good partners.

Real reason Alex died is he fell from his horse, bumped his head and woke up with amnesia.

Sad part is, his amnesia made him forget how to breathe.

No. Of course not. Not only did I not have a reason to, but I would also be unable to do it.
I have said it already, I was like, 90 tops when I met him. I didn't quite have my arsenal of connections and favours back then. And he was, some claimed, the son of Zeus. Maybe not quite real (I was not "in the know" because I was a small fry then), but nobody in their right mind would claim such things without some backing (back then, anything goes nowadays).
And he certainly was a divine hero. I wouldn't want to become a story.

Have you tried massage placing a worldtree branch, magic spring water, lavender, and fairy oil into your cauldron? Boil and stir well the ingredients. Let them sit for a week, and you will have a thick oil rub that reinforces healing (also smells good).

Does your particular strain of vampirism permit retention of the Soul?

If so, you could look into channeling it. It's a tad unorthodox, but if you're doing research why not push the envelope.
