We need to appreciate commenters more. So, as thanks and so that maybe some of them will comment more, I wanted to start this thread. For those who write, what are some of your favorite comments that you have received on any of your works? For those that don't write, what are some of the best comments you've read? I'll start:

From RR around a year ago: "Why is Kronos a stoner and why does she give off serious bad bitch energy?"

WN a few years ago: "I was okay with you naming the Dwarven dude after a mid-tier sandwich, but to name him after the same sandwich twice is just cruel."

Oh, I love each and every comment I get. I don't get so many so it's nice to get one. Sometimes I read through them again to gain a slight motivational boost.

This brings me pain.

My favorite comment is a recent one, actually. I don't point out a lot of certain details in my stories because I do enjoy letting people make their own inferences at times. But, finally, after almost two years, someone finally pointed out a family dynamic that I've alluded to. It's always made me wonder if others have seen it or have just blown it off without thinking much of the slight hints I've dropped;

Other comments in general are always nice. I have one reader who regularly posts 'TFTC' and it makes me incredibly happy to see them. A new reader also just binged my entire story over the course of two days based off their comments, which I find insane because that's a lot.

My fave comments from the Human Saint is Bored (Honeyfeed)

In this one, another reader points out my mistake in one of the volumes. I appreciate the fact that he really did read the chapters, and not skim through it.

This one is from the same novel series but a different site (WebNovel). I was pleasantly surprised because I rarely receive reader's comment in that platform.

And then, not a comment, but actually a thread reply from a few days ago...(ScribbleHub) I love this one, because it came from this site (even if it's from a new member), famous for hating on the harem genre.

This one came from Syosetu, where a user PM'd me on a mistake he spotted. This one is special to me because the Japanese readers of my work are pretty silent, and he/she went out of the way (breaking silence) just to tell me that there's a problem in one chapter of my English-language novel.

im too lazy to track it down but my favorite comment was when some dude wrote a fan fiction scene in the comments regarding my characters and story. Was high quality stuff. He later went on to write a 5-6k word long chapter detailing my MC and other characters plus some OCs set in a Dead Space type of story where the MC was investigating a distress signal. So he and some team mates went into this ship, got separated, and the team members later found him atop a small mountain of sexy Xenomorph babes that had all just been thoroughly pleasured.

I'd even contributed because he admitted he didnt really know how to write the MC appropriately and so i offered to edit it. Was interesting.

He was removed from existence for a while after the MC met them. He knew too much.

To be fair, Realistic Hero has a very good reason why the king gave him his crown. They just don't explain it until way later.
