I am the second incoming of Jesus, I promise that wine was water when I poured itI think you've had one too many drinks Agentt.
Yes true, but it is still very off to call a person dog.Cats are cute and so are dogs too.
If I see a cat girl on internet, I can say,
"Come here cat,"
And that would be cute
But if I see a dog girl on internet, I can't say, "Come here dog!"
*slithers*...
Let them interpret it however they want their fault they came to that conclusion. Also, come here snake.
I'm pretty sure both would be frowned upon.
Cat = woman of poor sexual morality
Dog = man of poor sexual morality, or person of either gender being dehumanized and cast down.
The phrase "come here cat/dog" would conjure images for these disparaging uses of the term rather than anything positive.
That is a rather elaborate explanation.To expand upon this further, most of the problem is the fact that "come here" is a command. The commanding tone is most of what gives the negative impression. Also, neotinization (making something seem younger) is a way to further lessen the negative impressions.
So, "here puppy, come over here," which has more of a coaxing than commanding tone would be considered far more acceptable... unless you flipped it from "puppy" to "kitten." If you used "kitten" in that sentence then you come out looking like a total creep. However, "kitty" is a lot more acceptable because the use of "kitty" instead of "kitten" also neotinizes yourself in addition to the one being addressed.
So, "Here kitty" or "here puppy" are both acceptable, while "come here cat" and "come here dog" are both rather unacceptable.
And so are you too.Cats are cute and so are dogs too.
////)And so are you too.
do you need to ask. 'Drop your keks, dog!'That is a rather elaborate explanation.
What would you replace "come here" with?
