I thought of a new mechanic basically, inspired from the KR games of nuf.

I call it, Conditional stabbing!

So, basically, the reason, "all within tie are executed" rule exists is to let town kill multiple people a day. Like, if you have found both mafia the same day, you can execute them by making a tie.

The problem with this is, surely the mafia will now wait till the very last second of EOD and then change their vote to break the tie.
The only way to prevent this usually is to have many town members be online till EOD so that they can change their votes too to maintain a tie.

Which is a huge inconvenience, you must admit.

So, how about you can vote by saying, "Vote X but change to maintain the tie."
That way, as soon as someone breaks the tie, your vote will change as well to bring back the tie.

How does it sound?

If it's good, then do you think I should add other conditional votes too? Like, "vote whoever voted me" or "vote whoever has most votes"

Agentt, 30 minutes before EOD2: "Zone, I need your help!"
Zone, 30 minutes before EOD2: "Ah shit. Here we go again."

Agentt, 1 minute ago, 15 minutes before EOD2: "Hey guys, I thought of a new mechanic for a non-FM related game in a FM-related thread!"

...bruh. The level of disrespect is incredible. It truly makes me wonder what drug I was using when I signed up as backup.

2. Every participant is required to vote, or else they get a warning. Two consecutive warnings result in death. A substitute may take their place.
Do we consider this his first night of inactivity, or second night? If it is second night then he will be killed too and have his role revealed.
Meanwhile, Past Zone:
Setting the rules is arguably useless if they are not being followed.
When I was talking about following rules, I was talking about Agentt. :blob_neutral:

D1 ML
N1 Neut Lovers dead
D2 ML

Current state: 4 VT + 1 BG vs 2 Goons

N2 faction kill + modkill town slanker results in D3 starting with 3v2 LYLO.

If I were to sub in for X, then Y dies. If I were to sub in for Y, then maybe X dies.
There is simply no benefit in me subbing into a game as a deadweight.

...actually, I miscounted. There are only 3 VTs left as of now.

In other words, modkill leads into mafia's victory. ...what a classic story.

But doesnt that just make the game harder for mafia? If they need ro win they need to rely on tactics like this. I am not great at making rules for setups and stuff though >.>

It's not exactly a tactic, just a dirty trick, but i understand, it is a tool nevertheless

But it is a flimsy tactic that can be easily countered by many people staying online till eod, so...
