While watching YouTubers crit yandev I began to wonder about the premise I'd yandere being violent or straight up murdering love rivals.
Let me tell you it ain't fun, I'm probably the only weeb that hates the yandere troupe with a burning passion, especially when they fave no consequences for their actions.

Then I began to wonder, what if a yandere series focusing on the romantic aspects of the story as a consequence of loneliness and need to be loved as the life they lead isn't exactly great. And she takes out the rivals nonviolently, instead of straight of killing them she uses her brain's to try and deter the potential relationships while fighting her crippling loneliness and depression while the main plot makes life even more harder for her.

That's... Just some Chinese TV drama cannon fodder, no?
Eeeh, not really the world has super powers plus the yandere is super smart and an excellent planner who'll have to learn to work on the fly. Plus the story isn't primarily focused on the romantic aspect of the story, it's simply there as the yandere's escape from her previously perceived shit show of a life.

Yandere Simulator is far from being the perfect, but it is ultimately a sandbox game. I'd reckon there's at least a way to eliminate your rivals non-violently? Not sure about the last bit though

Yes. You mind break them and turn them into your dolls. Not violent, right?

Edit: Actually I'm pretty sure there's one girl you can help get with another guy than the MC's target, but im not sure. May be that the guy is the MC's target.

I don't think this is yandere anymore. just a regular girl looking for a husband
Not really love, at first she'll think that it's love from a boy she fansies but later she'll realize that she just wants someone to be there for her and see her as a person. As at a point she'll fall in love with one of the other rivals which will throw her even further down depression when the realization hits.

even further down depression when the realization hits.
Because... ?

I'm far from an expert, but I've usually seen depression described as a creeping lack of attachment and reaction.
Which would make it reasonable for her to cling to something she thinks will make her feel better.
But passive heartbreak intuitively seems unrelated to that for me.

uhh what? this has nothing to do with being yandre, maybe a drama? yandre is just a glorified term for obsession. this doesn't scream obsessed to me.

why do you keep tormenting me by always using the wrong terminology

Didn't they mention it in the beginning? (As well as having done similar things to other concepts in the past)
They don't like yandere as is, so they want to make another "yandere" suited to their tastes.

I don't completely get it, but I think Bunny has associations vastly different from ours and wishes to do those characters justice.

Or something. I'm just guessing.

yes. I'm just being equally stubborn.
actually, in theory, it could work: taking a yandre and curing her of her obsession. she stops being a yandre, though.
