:meowsip: An error I noticed in many fictions with an European medieval setting, knights were first and foremost a social caste! Not a profession!

Actually, knighthood is a profession, a title, and a caste.

As a caste, knights ranked below barons in the social hierarchy. They rarely owned land and people to rule like the nobles above them.

As a title, knighthood was usually an honorary title for citizens who had rendered services to the kingdom, especially in war.

As a profession, nobles often served as knights. They would join war if the king called them. Even high-ranking nobles also participated in war as knights.

Thus, knighthood can be interpreted as a caste, a title, and a profession.

:blob_frown: This is an anachronistic interpretation. Too many errors to pick them apart individually. Anyway, by the high middle ages, the stratification was already well pronounced.

:blob_hmm: I think Lit is a combined effort as it takes much from pre existing RPGs, but you have a point ... You need a game system to get anywhere in Meow Meow Russia. :blob_reach:

@SRB I thought LIt-rpg was about the main character being OP GG and having the PewPew big PP power, not suffering.
