The darkest stain on the country's history, though a few others come close. The worst part is perhaps that nobody involved has faced any sort of consequences.

Remember seeing someone say somewhere that it's like walking into Germany and seeing that the Nazis won
I need to stop asking how stupid my city government can be... they seem to think it's a challenge.

3 months to fix a pothole, that could've been done in a day
At the end of my life if I can see my stats… I have absolute confidence that I’ll be top 10 in all of history for books read and time spend reading respectively… I mean I’ve read at least 80 thousand separate stories by now and that’s within the last 10 years… so who knows how many I’ll have read by the end-nyah. :meowsip:

Their job is not to document those things but rather to preserve the records that generals, world leaders, mathematicians, explorers, etc. made. Without them, we end up like that retarded TikTok lady that insists that the Roman Empire never existed

:blob_reach: The job of an archivist is to physically and increasingly digitally maintain certain documents, which has challenges on their own. Not to study them.

The historian meanwhile studies them and cross references them. A most important task to verify their validty.
