For anyone who has read the Mashle: Magic and Muscle manga, how do you guys feel about the way it ended? I personally thought that it ended on a good note.

Pretty good for what it was. The jokes didn't always land in translated manga form, but it was entertaining.
The volume sales for the series peaked at volume 5 and each four week period became weaker and weaker. It also seemed to be going down in popularity, so it's good that it got a conclusive ending now. It probably was never going to climb back up.

Overall, yeah, a fun series with nice subversions.

I actually did not like it. It started off as story of a guy who doesn't want to fight, turned into story of a guy who almost kills anyone who disagrees with him or his friends. The entire point of story was how kindness and power of friendship can help us overcome this capitalistic hell where anything below excellent is condemned, but instead of the group growing as a result of this friendship, everyone remains weak! The MC just proves that whoever is strong rules the world.
