Oops - thought I was on this thread with one of my last posts.

Tempted to change my vote to "The growing Aisling Incident" as it has everything - comedy, tragedy, shocking accusations, even Hungarian recipes...

I have read/am reading and enjoyed My Dungeon Life, but I'm honestly surprised it's someone's favorite.

Honestly, the first story(ies) that come to mind when I think favorite story on Scribblehub is Dream Engine: DC comics by Galen. He stopped writing it two years ago because burnout but I reread it and it's still great. Technology like SAO's immersion rig allows people to fall asleep and play video games. MC is a beta tester. All of DC shows comics movies. There's a DC comics genre in SH it's number 2 for a reason. The reason its not number 1 is because number one has been semi-consistently updating while Galen hasn't been. Dream Engine: Beta Tester…. D.C. Comics | Scribble Hub

I was born the Unloved Twin by CCmei again another hiatus story but such incredible characters. So much depth they feel alive in a way some printed book characters don't. Not so standard mix of Isekai and reincarnated tropes mixed with some realism about what it might actually be like for someone. I was born the Unloved Twin | Scribble Hub.

Snusmumriken has these two series Wisher Beware and Edycsis. 1st book and sequel. Think magic world with foxkin, wolfkin, dogkin, lamias, and others where their world is a colony from a scattered Earth. MC eats a fruit that wasn't a fruit and gains knowledge of technology that makes us look like we are in the dark ages. He then seeks to turn his life from a slave and uplift the world around him out of babylonian times and towards the space age. Wisher Beware | Scribble Hub

Kuropon my favorite of his series is The Runesmith. 1200 ratings 4.6 stars. The Runesmith | Scribble Hub.

Lastly I have to say that anything written by Hrist-Waltz. His MC is the same guy across all stories named Rick Wald. The first one to read is Out for Karma: One Piece but after that you can read whatever. His stories aren't as polished as the others on my list but One Piece has a 4.1 star rating from over 250 ratings. Not for everyone but I really like his writing. Out for Karma: One Piece | Scribble Hub. It is SI but the guy is smarter than the average SI protagonists that others write.

Of course there are the obligatory ones I have to mention even if they aren't really on SH anymore. At the Top is He Who Fights Monsters by Shirtaloon aka Travis Deverell. His stuff's on Amazon with audiobooks as is Unbound by Necariin. I also really like Mark of the Fool and The Primal Hunter but those are/were both on RoyalRoad so again not SH.

Yeah, well I would like to change my opinion now. After making this reply, I decided to catch up on it, and the authour did something I really, really disagree with, and left it floating in the frigging air instead of either making things better again, or at least providing some closure.

Up until that point, I actually liked how it was going overall. He didn't become powerful fast, but did become powerful. Also, the way dungeons (The lore in particular) are described actually gave me the idea for how one of my novel/fanfics works when my MC is fighting against the Canon for control of the Lore the stories.

But is it the best work on here? Hardly. But did I enjoy the ride? Very much so until chapter 1653-1654...

i like The Reincarnation of Alysara , for me it's a peak GB here, with detail litRPG, very complicate yet deep magic system, and world building. the character also very emotional and natural, the self grown of mc sometimes make me cry and smile. sadly the author is currently revise it, so no more chapter.
there is also Nexus Awakened, with heavily inspiration from project moon game, it have very interesting skill and power, emotional character, but the writing is a bit too complicated.

The most fun I've had reading was probably this hilarious Demon Queen story:

But the best written; I'd probably have to give it to Interstitial Entity, a fantastic pro-level piece with deep character writing and a complex x-filesy plot. A real hidden gem!
