What was the story plan?

Plan? I and a few other authors were dissi- *cough* We were discussing another story and I shamelessly stole the ideas because I thought I could do better.

I always think of awesome plots in my head, but I am only one vampire. Not only that, I am also lazy sometimes.

My proudest plan wasn't so much a story idea as the fact that I took up writing web novels in the first place. It was exhilarating to gain so many readers. I had written 65 chapters of that first novel, gaining around 1.2k readers before deletion. My spirits were crushed for a while when I realized what I wrote was terrible. It was entertaining, but the writing and flow were awful.

When I picked up writing again, it was only after consuming a ton of writing content, making a few threads, posting my writing where people would give feedback, and trying to read what people consider "good prose." I am happy I did those things. My writing is better by a large margin, and I still have what made people want to read in the first place. I have an imagination and an entertainment factor.

At this point, my proudest plan with my current work was right at the start. Rewriting my first uploaded story, and I backset the start to when the MC was 5 years old, rather than starting it when he was in his 20s. explaining how he and the love interest (a dragon) knew each other when he was a young child really resonated well with my readers. they all like the "childhood friend" trope.

My stories always come in dreams. I don't know why, but that's how they usually come. I've managed to complete 4 books 3 that I have published in this site. Right now, I'm redoing them with shorter chapters and better reading as I promised to do long ago. Currently rereleasing my first book and so will do 2 and 3.

The others will be considered my first drafts and outdated as these new ones will have more details/scenes. Impossible to update both sadly.

My forth book, I'll release soon too. Many plans, I have.

I have a bunch of stories I want to write, but time is fleeting and I can't write them all.

Proudest plan was reaching a moment that I've been dreaming for the better part of a year. It was pretty much the climax of the MC's first character arc. Right now the plan I'm working on is tying things as far back as 600 chapters ago with the present to finally realize their meaning/forshadowing that eventually led to this point.

My proudest plan is to finally mentally torture the mc enough to where she finally turns the story genre from slife to adventure (no I will not elaborate on that...)

The plan was that the villain was absolutely right about everything. Including the fucked-up parts. It goes downhill when I have to lobotomize myself to think like a teenager. What I'm writing partially as of now is a YA dystopian novel but from the evil side. So, one of the outright mandatory plots for this setting is to team up with the opposite side for something. I can't figure out how to shove a reason to bring them together given the setting.

What was the story plan?

My plan went from my MC going up the road just to buy milk to ending up in a foreign country's embassy talking to their president in the span of a week. I have no idea what the fuck I'm doing, but the train is going and it's going somewhere.

My problem is balancing. Keeping the MC at the proper "power level" for the enemies he's going to face, getting him to have the proper tools to overcome his challenges, and feeding enough bodies into the meat grinder that enough of a cast develops to support the needs of the plot. Whether that need is through becoming a corpse or an influential character. The story plan remains unchanged as I go but the issue is everything around it.

Otherwise, yes. We're getting there. Slowly. Expectation is about 1k chapters before completion at this pace.

Yesn't. Less a lack of time and more a lack of skill. I'm retarded, you see.

Battle scene really set me back on my plan.

I have a plan. Well, had a plan. Still have it I guess.

What slows me down is my mental health and lack of support. Real life is a bitch, building up fans is tricky, and the reception isn't where I'd like it to be.

Is my story doing better than others? Yes of course, just like in real life I'm in a better spot than somebody out there yea. That doesn't fix what I'm doing though, just makes me feel guilty for aiming higher.

I've outlived 4 friends in the past six years and survived homelessness and beaten addiction twice. That stuff doesn't make you a hero like in the stories, it just makes life hard. Sometimes I get up and try to be the light of the day, meet people and be active and hype about my job and my stories. Other days I want to stay in bed and hope i stop feeling that swelling pressure in my chest that doesn't let me breathe well.

I have a plan for my stories, it just takes time and effort. It's in the story title, it's Book 1 of a possible 7 stories I have in mind. Sometimes it gets easy to write, sometimes it gets hard. That's just what I'm living through though.

Knowing my persistence, I will write those 7 stories over time. I've had these ideas, these stories in my head for 6 years and I know I'd regret it if I never wrote and shared them with everyone. It's just, I'm not well sometimes and that's okay.

Battle scene really set me back on my plan.

A friend I'm (barely) helping here is writing to get to the middle and near end of his story. I saw his story plan and world build and it was interesting. The beginning? Not so much, it looked like he used the beginning to get the readers used to how the SC and MC acts and the world-build via academy arc LOL.

A lot of our motivation is the blaze a certain scene gives us.
