Hello!!!!

So the manga 'My Hero Academia just ended recently and I was curious to read how you guys feel about the way that the series ended?

I personally enjoyed the way that the series ended even if there were a few things that I wish played out differently.

Note: If you wish to talk I'm detail on a specific point where the chapter ended, please use the spoiler feature so that those who only watch the anime do not end up getting spoiled.

Deku became the greatest hero, though not in the way everyone expected.

Which is quite a poetic way of ending things.

He may have lost his abilities but, aren't the Japanese, and many other Asian cultures have high regard for teachers?

It had a book end, with Deku starts with quirkless and ends as a quirkless.

Though personally, the work crashed when the O4A BS buckets after buckets of quirks made me go WTF dude.

The author did intro-ed sexy sniper lady, so somewhat forgiven.

It was rushed, short and boring. They didn't even show us what happened to most of the characters. Eri, for one, is an interesting case, but the author decided that we didn't need to know if she's even still alive.

Imagine if One Piece or Naruto had the same ending; Luffy/Naruto did not become the King of Pirates/Hokage after all so many episodes and settled for a normal life after losing their powers, and their nakama/squad forgot about them for eight years.

Flames would have been everywhere

The moment I saw his analyzing power, I instantly knew he would become a teacher. It was jokingly said that his analysis is his Quirk back in the days too lol

Another shounen story with another rushed, shit ending.

Color me surprised.

If I compare MHA kind of ending, with other similar endinds, the only one that made it work was Slam Dunk. Even then, it worked for me, but another forum user said it was bad ending. ?‍♂️

Oh. Isn't that the thing with the guy who has a unicorn girlfriend or something? I keep seeing him punch some guy wearing a plague mask in some AMVs. What's that all about? Give me the cliff's notes.

My thoughts: It was still going? What was it?

Trully a good ending bakugo was obsessed with deku because he qas quirkless and in the ending bakugo was obsessed with deki because he was quirkless showing the growth of bakugo. Make sense for midoria to be forgoten by his friend i bet it was harsh to keep contact after losing his quirk and having to retire while all other are active heroes

FMA's ending seems similar, and it worked.
I think it sucks ass because unlike Edward's earned end, Deku's felt like shit when all his friends are living the high life while he just gets shoved into backline.

I mean, when Ichigo up against Aizen and that was the perceived end, I was actually ok with Ichigo losing his Shinigami power because that was the end of his adventure.

I think people like myself is just bitter that Deku becomes a sad lonely dude who gets shoved backrow while everyone including his ships are all out at the front.

Honestly, it is hilarious how Bakugou, who bullied Deku and even offered him to commit suicide in the past, gets to keep his superpower, while Deku lost his power and everyone forgot about him for years. He only became needed when he gained another power, while Bakugou was praised as a top hero all this time. Bakugou only gives Deku a hand when Deku gains his new power; until then, he was forgotten for him. At least this is what I gather from the ending. Really great message there. The author was really afraid of punishing Bakugou in any way for some reason.

And really great friends. Was it so hard to phone from time to time? Seriously, your friend is undergoing a crisis after losing part of his identity. Checking occasionally is not an impossible task if you ever cared for Deku and not for his quirk.
