If you're here, then I think it's safe to assume you enjoy writing. But what is your LEAST favorite thing about it?
For me, it's rewriting. Nothing kills my enthusiasm worse than realizing the story I've written so far won't lead organically into where I want it to go, or maybe I'm just not satisfied with the way things currently are, and it dawns on me just how much I'm going to have to rewrite before it gets back into a state where I'm able to keep keeping going. Because I'm not the kind of writer who can decide to fix earlier parts of the book later and keep chugging onwards. No, if the early parts of my book need to be fixed, I have to bring everything to a screeching halt to take care of it right now before I can progress the plot a step further. And at that point, it's a 50/50 chance I'll just give up and start a new project (which will undoubtedly end the same way)
