Loki. That guy is the first saturday morning villain in history. But his story between the lines is also pretty interesting: he starts as Odins sworn brother, then has a fallout with them and in the end Loki is the one that beings the dawn of the gods.
He's also daddy of THE most iconic mythological doggo ever (partly due to games and weeb media).

For heroes Siegfried. One of the most tragic bros ever. All he does is help is buddy get laid and suddenky he's got an "everyone dies" ending.

Same as the above. I doubt that there are 10x less games and stories that use Cerberus.
Ok, 10x might be a bit much, unless you start counting isekai webnovels, where every mc gets a fenrir as a pet, waifu or both. Cerberus is more of a boss monster than a mount/waifu for weebs, so that's where the nordic breed severely outnumbers the greek breed of myth doggo.
Cerbs are used more in western media due to greek l myths being more known and or serious media ascwell.

There's still way more Fenrirs in games and novels than cerbs, tho.

You are probably right about the novels(though it's a bit of a stretch to count a wolf with the same name). However, I can't remember a single Fenrir in games, while there are plenty of Cerberus.
I found a site after a minute of googling. I'm not sure we can trust these stats, but it states that Fenrir appears in 40 games while Cerberus is in 93 games.
