I actually wrote a story kinda like that. the sword didn't swear constantly, but it was alive and would talk and communicate with it's wielder. additionally, the sword LOVED bloodshed and would laugh maniacally and scream in excitement anytime it was allowed to cut through flesh or have magic cast through it.

further, it let the wielder (and reader) know that different flesh and blood taste different. goblins are nasty, humans are tasty, orcs are somewhere in between and elves have a faint sweet flavor.

I can fetch omnipresence with omnipotence if I really need to, but I don't think I could mentally process omniscience, much less omnipresence, so it's optimal for me specifically to make sure I can do so.
