Have you guys ever tried posting 2 of the same titles together on this site?
Where one is the original and the second is in a rewritten form?
In my case, for example, I started Erden with no knowledge and experience with writing.
I'm planning to do rewrites for it, and have started. Is it alright posting it as another series?
You might say, why not just edit it in your current story?
I could, but I'm planning to change the 2k per chapter word count to 1.2k. So the number of chapters would increase. I'm not doing this to bump up chapter views, rather, I found out that I could pace my writing better by doing this. Not only that, I'm already at 90k words in my story, and doing the rewrites could change a lot and also, I expect an increase in the word count.
While doing rewrites, I also plan on continuing the story.
I ask, is it allowed? There isn't any mentions in the content guidelines.

I actually did exactly this. However, I re-named the series for the re-write. I'm also going a very different direction with the series for the second time around. All the characters are the same, and the first half of the first book (first 20 chapters or so) read very similar. However, after chapter 21 it starts going in a faintly different direction, and by the middle of the second book I will have it looking like a completely different series with only a vague promise that it will eventually wind up in a similar place to where the 1st round left off.

My first attempt at this story was called "Second Life as the Sister of a Goddess."

The currently in-progress reboot of the story is called "Key to the Void" which latched onto an aspect of the story that is less in your face but still more central to the story in the undercurrents than the more superficial status as this goddess' sister. (Plus, the new name fits the actual tone of the series better. I think my first version got a bit of hate because the title made the readers think it was going to be a lot more fluffy than how it actually turned out.)

As you can see from just looking at the two, the re-branding of the reboot is actually thorough enough that you could mistake them for being different series if you weren't told "Key to the Void" is actually a reboot of "Sister of a Goddess." (I make exactly zero attempts to hide the fact and even have the synopsis of both series actually mentioning their relation to one another, but I still have people who are surprised that they are two different takes on the same story.)

You mean like Reincarnated demons life of wonder?
There is 1 more popular series that is doing this but I forgot its name... (apart from the Key to the Void mentioned before)

That's really good to know! Thank you!
I wouldn't really know if by the time I get to the latter half of what I've already written if the story would stay the same. The plot would, but I know that there are a lot of things I want to change. And if I had to edit everything in my current story, then I might end up with holes. A lot of holes.
Thank you again :blob_melt:

Yeah, I wanted to address some parts of my story that people pointed out lacking. As well as incorporate my current form of writing to make the whole thing consistent.

I also did this with my novels Nakada-san to Ren'ai and Nakada-san to Ren'ai 「Black Label」 The first I wrote starting out back in november '20 for NaNoWriMo and it was relatively tame, but the rewrite i started in february '21 is vastly different in pacing and content. Nothing wrong with doing so and being true to your vision, especially once you gain experience and confidence to do so. You may however find your audience might not be all the same.

Due to a small bug, one of my series got published twice, separately, same name. Deleting one of them didn't do anything to other though.
Eh, but don't they have to approve it manually? How'd that happen?

I very much don't know. It was a small thing so I never reported it, but it has happened multiple times.

Well, I don't see it as much of a problem since deleting is fairly easy to do. At least you got 2 spots in latest! xD
