Remember Street Writer happened a few months ago? Writing tournament with a knock-out system? Now get ready for Another one.
But before I explain any further. I want to congratulate @Paul_Tromba for winning the Street Writer tournament. I have yet to congratulate him, hehe.
So what is this Writing Tournament or Writing Competition? This is our (Discussion Staff Studio) take on the Street Writer format. Although there will be many things different, the gist is the same. Author will face another Author in one V one situation. The difference with the Street Writers is that this competition will not be a knock-out type tournament. A panel of judges will review the competitor's work in each round to determine the winner instead of voting. There will be six consecutive rounds, and the winner in each round will get a point. The one with the most amount of points will win.
The theme will be Fantasy. So if you believe Fantasy is your forte, consider joining. Even if Fantasy is not your forte, still consider it a challenge for you and join. Because unlike Street Writer, which acts like an experiment in the format. DS Studio Writing Competition will have a prize for the winner. The winner will get an Illustration from three DS Studio artists. What type of Illustration is up to the winner to decide. Either is a landscape or character profile.
