You saw the title now here is mine.
Cinnagoth Jones: Homicidal Detective.
Literally Homicidal.
She has a deep grainy voice and a Brooklyn accent. Her deep red hair is long and curly, and its beauty contrasts with her sharp and unfriendly facial features. You'll find her black eyes in a permanent scowl and pointed nose upturned. The only time you will catch a smile is when she's in the company of someone else's misery. Even then, it's quite predatory.
Cinnagoth has the ability to experience the memories of those she kills. With this, she can learn skills, but more importantly, get information. It is very important she keeps her own identity, as too much use can mess with her sense of self.
The amount of information she gets from a kill varies, and it depends on the will of the person killed versus her own will.
No one publicly knows how they solve cases so quickly except her contacts, the CIA, and the agency she really belongs to.
Cinnagoth is part of a group native earthborn who were born in times and places of high Otherside energy. This grants them unique physical traits and abilities. Such as red hair or sharp teeth. Otherside natives and hybrids usually have more exotic appearances but are not necessarily gifted with more powerful abilities.
She works for the Department of Othernatural Mysteries. The DoOM specializes in and mainly employs the strange, unexplained, and Othernatural. The DoOM is under the jurisdiction of the CIA.
The term "Othernatural" refers to the Otherside and its introduction of its people, and energys to the earth as well as any phenomenon as a result of it.
The Otherside is a parallel plane of existence that functions on different rules than what we would consider normal. It grows ever closer, and one day, it will be so close that the two planes will become one.
The existence of the Othernatural is an open secret, with most civilians seeing it as a conspiracy, along with ufo's and ghosts. As such, the DoOM's name is rarely written down, and agents are publicly part of the CIA.
The budget of the DoOM is low because of the elected officials' lack of knowledge about the department. As a result, it uses technology that is decades old. This is very frustrating.
