Just use good old-fashioned crime solving skills. No magic or super tech to solve the case. No violence until they solve the case.

They are forced to have a partner.

Do superhuman senses count? If they do, then definitely yes. If they don't, it's debatable, but probably yes. Generally all of my mc's are rather smart and perceptive, cause I hate writing dumb or slow characters and what comes from that.

Being critically observant is fine. Like Shawn Spencer from Psych. Super smell and hearing is fine. Yes.

Depends on the case, a noir femfatale comes in to his office type case- 50/50. A series of murders with a clock theme- no. A bounty on some random alien hiding- yes (if he is halfway through the story)

Yes. They have a partner and technology that's able to see the historical events of a site. The greater the tragedy, the higher resolution the vision is with some very peculiar risks involved akin to Time Wardens from HP Lovecraft.

My MC pretty much is a hardboiled noir detective with a haunted past in a sword and magic world.

He would be alright with it. He'd probably try to use his Imperial authority against people though

He’d be better at it than some, but is an isekaied gym bro accountant. He has no particular training in the subject if he can’t rely on magic. At best, he’d be one of the side characters in a Sherlock Holmes story that does the obvious but wrong thing instead of the deranged genius thing.

Given that part of what I write is mysteries and Cassidy's the granddaughter of a great detective who trained her, I'm comfortable saying yes.

My character specifically uses her power to gather information, so without powers, well she may have some tips and tricks but I don't put a lot of faith in her.

Yes, But would he do anything about the issue is another question. Mucking with timelines is a bad thing.

They would be about as good as the average person.
