You are the holy prince(ss) of a fantasy kingdom and the entire world is doomed... unless you manage to summon a hero(ine) that you're willing to marry using the Trans-dimensional Magic Summoning Array (TDMSA).
By marrying an Otherworlder, you will magically activate incredible cheat powers in the Otherworlder that are sufficient to save the world.
This effect will only work if you marry an Otherworlder (and not a local). The wedding involves an unbreakable magical contract ritual that will force the two of you to be stuck within 100 meters of each other for the rest of your lives. Otherwise, you are completely powerless aside from this strange holy ability to choose the hero(ine).
The issue is that the Trans-Dimensional Magic Summoning Array (TDMSA) is completely random. You have no idea who it might summon, since it literally plucks a random person from another universe. It could be someone that you like, or it could be someone that you hate. It is extremely likely that they will be ordinary and average, but it's also possible that you might summon a horrible person if you're unlucky.
The King would like you to use the TDSMA to summon Otherworlders until you find someone that you're willing to marry.
Due to the nature of the machine, you can only summon one Otherworlder at a time and you must decide within 24 hours whether you want to marry them. If you fail to marry that Otherworlder in 24 hours, they will automatically be sent back to their original universe.
The other major issue is that the TDSMA only has enough magic for five summons.
If you fail to choose an Otherworlder to marry by the fifth use, the machine will break, and you will be stuck with the last Otherworlder you summoned. Your father will force you to marry the fifth one, because otherwise the entire world will end and everyone will die.
1. How many summons do you think it would take for you to find someone you would be willing to marry?
2. What qualities are you looking for in Otherworlders? Are there specific traits that you're seeking?
3. Suppose you are on your fourth summon, and you don't like this candidate either. Would you choose to marry a mediocre person or risk a fifth summon?
4. Suppose that you like a summoned Otherworlder, but s/he doesn't like you. Will you force them to marry you in order to save the world?

Okay, next is the interactive simulation part.
If you respond to this thread and say you want to play, I'll go to this Quick Character Generator and generate a character for you.
If you're happy with the "Otherworlder" you got, hurray! You win!
Otherwise, if you don't like your summoned Otherworlder and I'll go generate another character for you.
But you only get five tries before you're stuck!
