Isn't transgender can't count as living being?
They are casting off their ability to reproduce, right?
If my basic of biology not wrong , isn't reproduction is one of recruitment of something to be called living being. Naoto and Chihiro still have their ability to reproduce.

???

Infertile people are not vampires. Also, trans people aren't necessarily infertile either.

... What did you smoke?

Some people are just born sterile, and that doesn't make them any less of a living being... Why would going through a surgery that make the person sterile make them stop being a living being either?

And what about people that simply don't want to have children? Are those people "not living" as well?

There is more to life than the capability to reproduce, geez.

By that definition of life, a robot that can make copies of itself (that can also make copies of themselves) is living so I'd say that reproduction isn't mandatory to classify something as a living entity.

Edit: also you might have been thinking about whether something is classified as a new species (like how the baby of a horse and a donkey isn't a new species because it can't reproduce) which doesn't help much here because infertile people aren't caused by the mating of two different species.

Guess all women after menopause are not living beings then.
