@Sola-sama Pretty sure most different translations have very minor differences. KJV for example messed with the word Tyrant and inserted James' name into the text but the morals are still the same.

All translations of the bible speak greatly about being kind to the less fortunate so If young people didn't think of hobos as people it would actually be through the bible that teaches them they should.

If it's related to the bad England did when they were colonizing other nations that's being referred to then it's the age-old problem of correlation being mistaken for causation.

This was followed by a dragon proselytizing to the guy.
Then some other guy showed up and said the dragon's religion was evil.
The dragon and I are just as confused as you are.

God doesn't exist. There is no "God's word". All we have are a ton of stories written by people. Some of those stories are good. Some are not. Even the good ones have been used to justify hurting innocent people though. That's why it's important to distinguish between reality and fiction.

For what I was referring to, it was a very lowball estimate of people who were killed as a result of religion in general, not a specific event. I was tired and didn't want to put in the effort of making a full list. Not to mention the topic is extremely depressing for me...
