Would it be GL or BL?

Imagine a group of guys who all know each other get transported to another world with no one but them and they all get transformed into women. After many harrowing adventures together, they bond and decide to form a harem despite not being gay before this event. Would this be GL or BL?

After answering that, now imagine if there were some girls in the group, would it change the answer? Say that there were two people in this group who were women before and after this transportation. Would their presence in the harem make you more likely to call it GL?

I personally don't know, hence why I'm asking (along with it being funny?), but am curious what other people think.

Edit: Thinking about it some more I'm leaning more towards GL.

Depends on what the parties involved declare themselves. Just because they miss a third leg doesn’t mean they can’t continue to live as male. Nor do I think they want to.

If you go by biology, then it’s GL.

What you could do, as far as the tags go, is just put gender bender and (possibly) harem. The GL tag could just be a content warning in the synopsis saying that all involved characters are anatomically/biologically female or pose it as a question in an author's note. Asking the readers once this becomes relevant might be the best thing to do.

This is why these labels are so useless...

You'd probably just put all that in the synopsis and a content warning. It should be fine to call it GL and Transgender as long as they never go back to male bodies. If they do go back, and still pursue relationships with each other, you can add BL as well.

I know this is controversial and prob gonna make me look like bad and insensitve people.
But if it about the act of it, in my opinion if tou really want to have tag, go with what their body (biologically/physically) is. If it between woman (biologically/physically) then it is GL.
