so Hi there everyone. today.... I am about to speak about how this world is just unbelievable.... or not.

instead I am just going to ask this, but does anyone know about Black★Rock Shooter ? this thing here.....

So, while I was surfing on reddit' wave of posts, I found this, and after some search, I got to know more about it.

Black★Rock Shooter

it's a media franchise going by the name above. and the amazing thing about this media franchise, is that all of it, from manga, anime, and even games, is actually based on one art piece, just one random art drawn by a certain artist, and now? it's a whole media franchise, can you believe that?

so anyway, while seeing and reading that, I just had this thought, but is not it awesome how just a single art could actually get its own media franchise, while some manga, and novels, or even games never get theirs? what do you think? and do you have anything else to add?

Huh.

You know, i remember first seeing this around the mid-2000s and could find FUCK ALL about it besides the illustration and some song. Then I'm seeing it everywhere. Like, what? Suddenly there was an anime and a game and i was just like, "what the fuck?" Cuz i literally couldn't find anything but the original illustration. I looked to see if there was a manga or light novel, but no dice. I must've caught it very early.

I read the manga off of a scan site a few years back and wanted more but it's hard to find much of it anywhere. At least, it was. Now it's everywhere. I remember it being fairly good and similar to the Tohou series in terms of random art. I don't know much about it though. It did lead me to the manga Kagerou daze which is in my top 10 for mangas.

it's a one whole Artbook that drawn by Huke.
the artbook are selling like hotcakes in japan due to it's unique artstyle which getting viral in the internet nowadays.

that's also the reason why Steins;Gate exist nowadays.

also, the manga and the anime that release back then is not even good, it's awfully bad due to low budget and poor planning.
but God knows why would they even decide to revive this old pop culture now of all times.

and the reason why people hype about this, is because now it would be released on Disney+ and produced by Bibury animation studio. every clue are hinted that this time black rock shooter is not a half assed project anymore.


would the anime be good then? I don't know, but there's good reasons to expect good things,

when i saw the image here i thought 'i wonder if this is from something' and sometimes that thought becomes 'i want to make something for this' and sometimes the person who had that thought actually makes something and sometimes that becomes popular giving more chances for the cycle to happen again. so such a thing happing was inevitable and this got lucky to be it

Seeing that brought me back to the days when I'm just about to go down the weeb rabbit hole. Talk about a blast from the past. I don't know anything about it, though, and it never really interested me back then. I do remember calling it "edgy Miku" or something those days.

I did know it's really big, though.

I recommend Steampianist, kikuo, and GHOST. Steampianist and GHOST make quite dark songs, while kikuo tells stories. Steampianist uses V3 Oliver a lot, as he is an English vocaloid.

I know people won't care about this, but this title and picture gave me a little traumatic flashback about an old friend of mine... Who introduced me to weird animes and games (most of them gory) and drew fanart of them all the time. And since I was the closest, showed me all of them and wanted feedback. Couldn't really say no.
Actually, that was how I first saw Madoka Magica as well... As you can guess, these things were not my cup of tea

Anyway... It's interesting it started with just an art piece though.
