Why such sad threads+Prompt of Joy?

Humans by nature have a memory with a bias to remember sad and painful things more than other emotions.

How joyous do you feel when your friends survive despite all odds? Does it color your little puppet world enough to make you cry joyous tears?

All my friends aren't that afraid of dying. It's, in fact, sadder when they cling to survival too much - it means they haven't prepared for their afterlife.
As for them dying, is it really that big of a deal? I visit my dead friends every now and again - various afterlives have semi-official loopholes that allow visitors. Speaking of, I should visit that one friend of mine while I am on vacation...

We all have different opinion on what joy is, for me its to satisfied my curiosity. Discovering new things brings me that euphoria, thats why I like writing and videogames, I can explore my own mind and other worlds people created
