Yes. But there are all kinds of people. I have found some really kind readers and writers.

If here in SH half the comments on a chapter are 'tftc', in WN half the comments are of people wanting to force their ideas they believe are better into the story. And half of those ideas are dumb.

Also, WN is known for shadow-banning good stories that don't accept partnering with them. I think.
And if they do that, then they are obviously also 'subtly' promoting certain stories more than the rest to make money.
