Why do clothes in movies sound like that

They sound so like...satisfying...?Like in action movies...If you've watch east asian anything y'know what I mean but western movies have it too

Yeah, such a silky smooth sound. Can sound sudden and ferocious too, especially those robes and loose garments martial artists in Chinese movies wear when they fight.

Yeah, action movie clothes have such weird accents
That is such an amazing pun! Both with a strong sarcastic bent about clothes having their own language, while also referencing weird accents, as in the colors or details, of the actual clothes themselves. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I dunno. Maybe they beat a long rug near a microphone and play it over each move?
But also, loose clothings just respond like whips do, and action movies tend to have looser clothing styles than normal.

Just google foley sound effects. They're mostly recorded separately and then added and synchronized to the scene in editing. It's to heighten the dynamism of the fight.
