I'd like to learn more about your characters! Feel free to send whatever information you'd like as to what makes your character powerful. It can be multiple characters, too. As for the other part, it will have to be another character, who, when pushed to their edge, becomes a force to be reckoned with.

As for me, I'd like to add Lunar as someone who will have little trouble slaughtering his foes when he loses his composure.

Exciting!

Currently, the strongest character in my story so far is an Angel called the Arbiter, the Archetype of Judgement, and the Beholders who wield technologies that pervert physics and deviate away from the rules of magic (basically founders of major corporations). They're stronger than the MC by far outside of their emotionally heightened state.

As for the second one, the MC, 'Frost'/Archetype of Amalgamation is by far the last person to be pushed because to their edge because they ended up breaking down and manifesting all kinds of nightmares born from the mind (essentially wearing the physical embodiment of people's deepest traumas). It costed too many lives and they became the temporary villain of the story as a result of having lost faith in people's ability to become better. The Arbiter and Beholders didn't stand a chance, but outside of this they're still largely incomparable to the Arbiter and the Beholders.

The strongest character in my story is the Goddess of the Universe. I mean, she created the universe and can destroy it all in a single snap. As for whose the strongest when push comes to shove? That's a tricky question. It'd either be my MC or the main antagonist. My MC has the power to read other people's emotions as well as control wind and life itself, while the antagonist sees all past, present, and future but cannot affect it unless certain conditions are met.

I have to say, this sounds very intriguing.

That's a unique take! I like the concept of reading other individuals' emotions. When you say control life, do you mean the MC is able to retain life at will?

The strongest character I have in my stories posted here (aside from one story), is Yellow, aka the True God of Esclakpar. She's an entity who can, and has, killed multiple Cthulhu and above classed Eldritch beings with ease in the past. Pretty much she's a God who rules over many other Gods and just has to make sure nothing goes wrong and, if something does, step in and see that it is fixed.
To put it simply, there are four rings. One ring is the common Gods and etc, as well as the one our world prays to. The next ring is Eldritch beings or Supreme Gods. The ring above that is made of the toppest of Eldritch beings and Supreme Gods, as well as young and new True Gods. The final ring is True Gods, or Trunaricis Esperdaris, beings who are so overpowered yet lazy, as well as few and unique, that all of them are just crazy and out of the norm. (In her past time, Yellow literally cosplays as an .EXE out of pure boredom)
However, she's really just a psycho who loves to kill people and see them struggle and improve, often doing it sadistically. Despite all the powers at her fingertips, she'll hold herself back to the point of even risk being put into hibernation from being wounded fatally just so she doesn't get bored.

The other character, and one I can say without spoilers, is Ai, the self-proclaimed and future Apostle of War. She is the most powerful Wartorn, and at her peak of her rage and determination to get stronger and win, fought against the Apostle Aven, almost to a standstill with Aven not actually holding back. To reference, a God over on that world has enough power to destroy galaxies, and even most of them cannot stand against the pure might of an Apostle, who rules over them.

If one really wants to know the most overpowered and, if pushed, also overpowered characters I have on this site, I'll wait till someone asks since I'm cheeky and lazy.

The current strongest character in my story is Moryo, the main antagonist of Naruto Shippuden the Movie. Because he stole the powers and abilities of other movie characters, certain gamer characters, and anime filler characters from the Naruto franchise, he is comparable to Kaguya Otsutsuki.

My magic system is very complicated. Essentially, my MC can use Life Magic, which essentially means controlling plants and the like, but can also range to healing, buffs, and debuffs. Basically its a very support focused type of magic. However, the strongest of Life Magic users can essentially control people. They can control people like puppets, though it can be nullified if a stronger Life Magic user cancels the spell or if the pupputeer loses focus on the people they're controlling. There's also a bunch of different interactions with other magics that makes controlling other people either difficult or flat out impossible. There's also a bunch of caviates, like although they can control a persons body, they can't essentially make them say whatever they want. They can stop their victim from speaking, but making people say whatever they want falls more under Mind Magic.

Mind control and trickery play a rather large role in my story and it’s fanfiction to boot, so I’ll restrict it to OCs and stick to their combat abilities.

Strongest in normal circumstances is probably Lividia, the evil dragon bestgirl, as she has a nearly unparalleled ability to channel holy magic. Holy magic requires both absolute dedication towards something outside of yourself and an absolute certainty in one’s own righteousness, and Lividia is a being of nearly pure ego that has fully devoted herself to someone else (the MC). She took to the brainwashing better than just about anyone else in the whole story, as she was able to rationalize anything into evidence of her own superiority since the day she hatched from her egg.

If he were ALLOWED to fight, Silas the GM would be able to take on the entire rest of the cast alone in all likelihood. My story is an isekai where extraplanar beings copy video game and book worlds for entertainment purposes. Silas got the job of Game Master after successfully getting through a collection of Soulslikes and horror games after HE was isekaied. He’s just a bit salty that my MC got a cushy power fantasy for his first world after Silas got to explore the Dungeon of Fear and Hunger as his first.

He's one of my MCs. His name is Rudo. He possesses strength and speed far above what a regular human is capable of, in a world with medieval tech where there is no magic. He can shatter shields and dent plate armor with ease, and run to breathtaking speed, and when pushed to his limits, he can do incredible feats of physical prowess.

My main character is 10x weaker than he's supposed to be.

Smut or action? Why not both?

I don't want to be spoilery for my own novel, but the strongest character comes out in like chapter 24 and I've posted up to chapter 12.

But going by the characters already introduced, the Hero has a class that gives him double the stats of every other User, and became the most powerful Guild Leader of the Tower. The protagonist retains her immensely large soul from before she went into the past, and was able to do a suicide attack using soul magic to kill the Hero at the same time as her, so for the second category, it would be her. Because death is very much pushing someone to their limits.
