Isn't this really just a question of the readers sexual orientation? For instance heterosexual men will find women more sexy, heterosexual women will find men more sexy, homosexual men will find men more sexy, homosexual women will find women more sexy as for bi people I suppose they could find either men or women to be more sexy it might even change depending on if they find someone more sexy than the previous most sexy person they've seen.

As an asexual, I prefer the gender of being alone. So, if I prefer women or men? I rather just date my own reflection as it doesn't cost me anything and after experiencing social life, I rather want to date a mirror.

......yet I am a straight person so of couse I am a bit biased on the women's side.

If I were sexless (whether I actually am, is something I'll keep to myself), I'd not find humans sexually appealing (excluding scenarios where I used to be sexful(?) which are just boring), though I would probably find them aesthetically pleasing. I'd especially like looking at very muscled men, because I generally find large finely detailed shapes nice. I used to spend hours looking at ripples and grass, at leaves on trees and rocks, all up close, so I'd do the same at those huge guns. But women would be good too, I suppose. If I were sexless I'd probably like well-developed men a bit more from an appearance angle

In a genderless/sexless society, both men and women would be considered bizarre caricatures of 'traditional' beauty, and not really something seriously desired by most people looking for a real relationship. Of course, fornication and the internet would still exist, so men and women would appeal to relatively niche fandoms in a manner similar to futanari and tentacle fetishes in our own society. Kinda like how there are a lot of fans of tentacle porn, while not many people are actually looking for an eldritch horror to take in bed.

It depends on perspectives(world view) and how the asexual creature identifies itself.
Like if it were in a world where the ideal mate is a furless ape and it identifies itself a higher being who treats furless apes as pebbles on the roadside, it won't even look at gender of the ape and just ignore it entirely.

It would only be attracted to things it has interest in.

I don't get it, from a genderless/sexless perspective there wouldn't be a distinction between man or woman by definition?

Before I proceed to reply, an advisory, I'm going to talk from the perspective of my own sexuality. Since I'm in a journey of exploring myself and wish to educate others, I would like give my own opinion on this. As a consideration, I will put this in spoilers in case you don't want to know and wish to skip it. Even if you choose to read it, I'm going to be as considerate in my choice of words as possible.

If you don't know what my sexuality is, my username pretty much tells you. I got a thread in the Creations sub-board with some info about myself.

And then comes myself... straight as I may be, I do find females sexually attractive, but not necessarily women. And with that mentioned, for the sake of this topic, I'm going to instead use 'male' and 'female' because the thing is, I am indeed attracted to people who have no sexual appeal. So in a weird way, I'm probably the best person to ask about this. The lack of what we consider 'sexual' in a person is what I find most attractive i a person and no, I can't explain it. It's one of those things many don't know, but just accept, so consider this the same situation.

But it terms of who is more sexually appealing to myself, there's not much of an argument on that. Both genders have more or less the same body type with the exception of what makes them male or female (or at least physically male or female; I'm just going by appearance here). I am straight, so I will veer towards female, but even I admit, there's not much of a difference with a male. There's no real point in arguing which one is much more appealing when the body shapes are more or less neutral, and that's what I'm thinking OP is trying to convey in this conversation, neutrality.

So if you take away the part that distinguishes their gender, then the right answer is most likely neither. They both would look attractive to myself.

But maybe OP is literally asking a man or a woman, as in actual mature people. Well, in that case, I'll turn the dial and go to the other extreme. Does and elderly person look sexually appealing putting aside gender and sexuality? Once again, when you take away the sexual identity of said person, you're just left with a person, and in that situation my conclusion is the same.

That's the best I can answer. OP's questions is too vague as it doesn't have much information to go by, but I'd figure my perspective may be helpful.

In a sexless perspective nothing is sexually attractive by the very nature of it. So they are both the same.
This question seems kinda stupid.
I guess OP's intention is to find which one's more appealing, and even then, it's subjective as all hell. It might even be the same guy. One day I might feel the urge to spoon some tiddy while dribble testicles on the court next Tuesday.

It doesn't even need to be a sexless perspective. The word perspective itself is already indicative of the paradox, unless OP is suggesting we all share the same tint on our windows.

OP do you know something we don't?

I interpreted his question as who is more handsome\beautiful\attractive in general when you disregard your own gender\sex.

neither. From the perspective of someone without a sex, a gender, they wouldn't find either attractive. Attraction is used for reproduction

Someone without that need won't find either gender attractive then.

Even If you are a eunuch, you would still have feelings of attraction towards a pretty woman even if you cant be physcially aroused by her

But if you were BORN sexless, well attraction wont even enter the equation
