So I was thinking which types of book readers live to read .
Fast paced or slow paced.
Fast paced or slow paced.
True. Unless you like what is popular. As the others have said there is no right answer to this question and really you should just be writing what you want to write because if you try to write what's popular you'll get bored with it and quit.
?Smut.
just happened to meif you try to write what's popular you'll get bored with it and quit.
I think it's happened to all of us, I tried a LitRPG myself and I couldn't get past the first chapter.just happened to me
write what you want lol
you can change somethings if you want it to be more popular, but if you want to write YA Isekai LitRPG number 153, you will be miserable while writing it.

Neither. Readers want proper pacing for each scene and the story as a whole. If the story warrants a slow or fast pace then it should be paced in such a manner, slowing down or speeding up depending on how the scene is supposed to play out. some people like fast-paced stories and others like slow-paced stories but everyone can enjoy a well-paced story. For example, an action scene needs to be fast-paced because, well, it's an action story. If it's something like a slice of life then it will probably be slow-paced. However, a political scene can be either fast-paced or slow-paced depending on how heated the scene is. If your pace is too fast then you get a list of actions and dialogue and you won't get any readers. If the story is too slow-paced then it takes forever for things to happen and you'll lose even the most patient of readers.

Don't do this. Somebody (me) can hop up and start singing by heart... by pure reflex.*The USSR anthem begins to play in the distance.*
