People, I believe OP is lying and using AI assistance on their drawings. This comes from a gemini search on their images. The AI created a watermark that can detect when something is in fact AI. Given that they only started a month ago, they would not get this good in a month. You can look at their old drawings from a thread where they just started, and this progress is impossible.

What's more, I think they are trying to do this to sell covers as well, under the guise that it's all them. I am not saying images are completely AI generated, but they likely generate and edit.

What an odd way to use AI. AI should only be used as reference to skip the process where you scroll Pinterest all day long looking for inspirations and forget to draw in the end.

I debated with my friend today about shading and coloring. She told me that I shouldn't use too much hatching on my drawing, because it looks dirty.
She added, that hatching only work well for sketch or just with base color.

So what you guys think about this?

Definitely the first one, it adds more depth imo.
Know what? As an artist, you have the control to your artwork. We artists have different preferences. For example, if I feel like it, I draw my characters with a few crosshatch shading, or a full blackened part, then color it. It turned out fine. Let me show you an example...

This is a commissioned piece (by one of my former students), which I sent to him as proof that I'm 'halfway' done his commish. See the fully blacked hair? I used a broad-tip felt marker for that. White spaces (the shimmer) were parts I didn't put ink.

Then, here's the final result, which I scanned and colored in Photoshop.

Sometimes I would draw without anything in the lineart.

And this is the final result.

So, if anything, make your own routine and technique. While it is good to refer to other artists, you have your own path.

(I mean, I understand your dillema, for I've been there before as well. But as I gain more experience and confidence in doing commissions, I slowly learned that art is subjective and we can't please everyone.)

Edit: If you ask me? I find your artwork great.
How do you turn the lineart from paper to digital?

If resizing considered as AI generated, then yes, I'm using AI to resizing, since I got my own program (Clip Studio) and Drawpad recently.

try look at this :

If you're really good at AI things or all, than congrats. But accusing someone editing using AI, better think again.
I may can't prove the previous files of my arts, since I was using my friend's laptop and I never save master files.

Here analyze this file Clip file. Check it all you want, whether I create it using AI or not.

I'll wait for 24 hours max for you 2 to analyze, be a man. Don't be fucking pussy. @Makimaam @Kurayami .

I can't open clip files, but these images don't prove anything. Why the hell would you resize with AI? That is moronic. Every art program allows you to resize the image. There would be no need to use AI to resize an image, only for that AI to add a watermark.

Why its moronic? The quality won't decreased, not like when I resize with Paint, the image will be pixelated, especially if resize to be bigger.

But still you accuse me EDITING or GENERATING my damn art. Now its time for you to proof your claim. I sent you my clip files. Proof it.

Hey OP, it’s fine, take a deep breath. There was a really talented SHF artist named Thorkell that also got accused before. They proved themselves by showing a timelapse and layers of their drawings. CSP is quite expensive, so most people here would not have access to your files. Perhaps you can also post a timelapse of your drawing(s) to get rid of potential doubts?

Okay, thank you.

But I won't make timelapse for those accuser. I don't really care about what people think of me. But, because they're directly accusing, its their own problem to proof it. I already posted my Clip files for them to proof their claim.

The AI accusations came out of nowhere, huh.

For reference, I've looked through the clip file, and it seems legit. To be fair here, if you know anything about art and working digitally, you can already deduce OP's art as legitimate from looking at it alone. With the clip file, this should be a cut-and-dry case. As OP mentioned, if anyone still intends to accuse them, make your point. Prove the file is not legitimate.

But whether the accusers bother to prove their claims or not, I'd be inclined to think they're either trolls or just grossly ignorant at this point. Stop being paranoid and educate yourself first before jumping the gun.

Welp, since I can't open clip files and OP doesn't want to post a timelapse, I can just do a side by side comparison of two pieces of art. One is from them a month ago, and the other is what they recently made.

Sketch 1.jpg
Sketch 2.png

Compare the two, and ask yourself if this kind of transformation is possible in a month. I have no doubt that the artist started off okay, but can you really improve this much in a month? This doesn't even remotely pass the eye test.

Yeah its an AI too, I drop that to gemini to resize that shit, lucky for you, since I was using my friend's laptop because her tools at Clip Studio much more vary.

Now go proof the clip files i dropped, buy the apps or so, I don't care or borrow your friend's, then proof it. I already made an effort to drop my own clip file.

If your art is this good, then you are wasting your time arguing with plebs on the internet. Go sign up for an account on Vgen, or better yet, go to any manga studio in the world. They will hire you in an instant, and you will create something super amazing. Especially since you can allegedly create these arts in a day. You will be a rich artist.

Then why you busy enough accusing someone? Is it your job?

If you don't like me, just click "Ignore" bro.

Because you're a scammer trying to sell art to real people, and it's very cringe.
Gemini answer.png

Here is even more proof. OP is saying that resizing produced the watermark, but Gemini disagrees.

Then prove it, Click the Clip files, check it.

You only see the result, you never know the process behind it. You will never care about it either.
Look at the image, little bro. Gemini doesn't add watermark to resized images.

They caught me using AI on the forums, it wasn't me
Saw the generations when I made em, it wasn't me

Honey came in, and she caught me red handed,
Generating on forum floor...
How could I forget that Synth wasn't added to resized imagery
This whole time I was standing there, they never took their eyes off me
