For me its more my family than me but here are some crazy things I know of-
1st my family on my fathers side a few generations ago used to be part of the Italian mafia before coming to America,
2nd someone on my mothers side of the family murdered a man for molesting his son and buried him in the backyard of his mansion they were never caught (This happened like a hundred years ago or something),
3rd my great great grandpa robbed a bank and got away with it,
4th my family on my mothers side used to own a large plantation and well you know,
5th someone on my family on my mothers side made an important and still celebrated discovery related to archeology,
6th my sisters ex husband tried to burn down my house when my family was asleep,
7th my mother stabbed one of her ex boyfriends,
8th I once in 3rd grade threw my desk (one of those really heavy ones) at my teacher because she was bulling me and almost got her I was like 8 feet away from her and I only missed because of her desk and last but not least
9th my grandpa fought in Vietnam and was one of the people that had to deal with the suicide bombing children,
10th I got raped by my cousin when I was 8,
This is just the stuff I can remember off the top of my head but all in all reality is a strange thing-nya.

My family has a tradition, or more accurately a progression I'd call it, my brother and me were the first ones to graduate high school, so we each got a knife, and then when we moved out of our parents house we got a silver necklace. I didn't go to college, and my brother dropped out, my sister dropped out of highschool, so I don't know if a GED will count for the same thing and get her a knife, but it could be cool. Nor do I know what sort of traditional item could be granted for graduating college but I'll have to wait and see. My dad has a box with two pegs, where like over a hundred of these necklaces are hung up, so I think we'll be good to keep up that tradition for quite a while.
