When are stories visible?

Hey! Does anyone know at what point your story becomes visible? If it doesn't have a chapter yet, does it show up already? (I didn't want to create a new one just to find out)
Reason is, I would like to prepare one - with chapters and glossary and everything, but I don't know when I'll feel like officially posting chapters so I'd love just being able to quietly put up everything without anyone noticing. Although you could say "Just prepare stuff and don't care about people seeing it", I'm kind of awkward about that. If it's not hidden, I probably will continue gathering stuff loosely in a doc...:sweating_profusely:

It needs confirmation, but so far, whenever I checked new stories, they always had at least one chapter (which actually makes sense). So I think you can safely prepare your story without people noticing it.

You can create stories without publishing anything, with a cover, summary, tags and everything else, and they will only be visible to you. These stories normally have no chapters, however, if you want to arrange chapters you can simply save them as drafts. You can do this by pressing the button that says save draft, which is right next to the one that says publish.

Like this, as long as you don't press publish, you can keep your chapters organized as drafts and only you will see it. I'm preparing another story in this form and so far, it's only visible to me.

Hope it helps!

Yes, your story is hidden until you actually publish at least one chapter.

If you just published it, you might need to wait a bit for it to be manually approved
